DO YOU TRAVEL?
YES. Fill out the contact form & lets just chat allllll about it. I would love to experience a new place or one of your favorite spots for a family session, event, wedding, elopement, engagement, etc. Even if we have to build in some bartering/trading/creative payment in the rate, let’s get in a car or on a plane & make some amazing photos.
HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
I love to capture candid, organic, emotion-filled moments. Sure, the posed images have their places, & we will absolutely have plenty of those, especially in an event like a wedding, where we’ll ask for a family shot list. Other than the “Christmas card photos” & the posed wedding group shots, though, we are out to capture your real life. That’s what its all about! Our typical clients prefer that natural feel, so we are going to push it forward in our style.
WHAT TYPES OF PHOTO SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
I shoot anything & everything, pretty much! Family sessions, maternity, newborn, graduation portraits, weddings & other events, birth stories, engagements, elopements, headshots, etc. I haven’t found anything that’s off-limits or out of my wheelhouse yet!
DO YOU OFFER THE DIGITAL FILES?
Emily Dukes Photography firmly believes that photos are meant to be shared! We love seeing that our clients have sent their galleries to friends & family. So yes, we include polished, high-resolution digital images in all of our packages.
DO YOU EVER DO SALES?
YES. Following the Emily Dukes Photography instagram page is a great way to stay up-to-date on the sales/promos. Usually at the beginning of a season, we’ll offer mini-sessions. When booking weddings, we like to throw in a portrait session or an engagement shoot at a lower cost as well!
SPEAKING OF SHARING, CAN I POST MY IMAGES TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AND/OR BLOGS?
We would love that! We simply ask that you always give credit where credit is due. We don’t ever use watermarks on our images because we believe it cheapens our brand, so whenever you’re sharing your images on networking sites and personal blogs, just give us a little “heyooooo” shout out. And…obviously please never sell the images, attempt to alter the images in any way, put a brand on them, or allow a stock photo company access to them…?! I mean, don’t spit on them or put holes in them either, I guess. Although, you paid for them…they are yours…
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU DELIVER?
I have never had a client upset at the number of photos I’ve delivered, & I firmly believe this is due to the fact that I deliver a LOT of photos. I shoot pretty much constantly the whole time I’m with you, no matter what type of shoot we’re doing. That said, we generally deliver a minimum of 45 polished images per family/portrait session and 450 per wedding. We definitely give you every single good photo. For headshot sessions or special packages, the number of images is always included in the rate.
OF THOSE, WHAT PERCENTAGE OF COLOR IMAGES ARE DELIVERED? BLACK & WHITE?
Usually, about 90% of the images in our family sessions are in color, while the remaining 10% are in black & white. We usually only use black & white where it artistically makes sense or if a client requests it for certain images. If there are any photos you’d appreciate in black & white that are not delivered that way, we will be happy to edit those for you at a $5 per photo additional charge.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Family, portrait, headshot, & engagement session images are delivered no later than three weeks after the session. Wedding & event images are delivered no later than eight weeks after the wedding date. Rush processing is always available for an additional cost & agreed upon at booking.
DO YOU PRINT OR OFFER ALBUMS?
Emily Dukes Photography partners with PicTime client gallery system to deliver your photos, at which time, you are welcome to browse the product options available. The prices are kept at a competitive rate & we can honestly say the the quality is top-notch for sure. If you want to skimp on a little calendar for your grandma for Christmas that’s one thing, but getting a large, hi-quality photo put on a canvas is something you want to spend a little more on. PicTime makes your Emily Dukes Photography photo shopping easy-as-pie.
HOW DO I TELL MY FRIENDS ABOUT YOU?
Reviews are the best way to show your photographer that you appreciate his/her work. Did you read a review before you came to me for your session? Probably. The reviews on my google business page will always & forever be the best because they are so valuable & have such a far reach. There is a quick link on my PicTime gallery delivery where you can recommend me, & I love those too! Obviously, I’d love for you to send your friends my way by word of mouth also…by way of the URL to this website, or my Instagram account, or even my Pinterest page (that needs a little help!). I still have to pinch myself when I read reviews that my clients leave me. I don’t deserve you guys!
HOW DO I GO ABOUT BOOKING YOU?

PORTRAITS, FAMILY SESSIONS, HEADSHOTS, ENGAGEMENTS:
20% retainer is needed to solidify session date & time. Full payment is made on the day of the shoot.
WEDDINGS & EVENTS:
A retainer fee of 40% of the total cost and a signed contract (sent via email or delivered at an in-person meeting) are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the big day.
